How to Walk in the Lord’s Strength

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.”  (Eph 6:10).

Reflection from Ephesians 6:10

M. Mooney, Exec. Elder

Often we share a verse like this; only for its meaning to slip past as a thoughtful Christian gesture. If the truth will be known, sometimes we even attempt to encourage others with a verse from which we have not yet realized its power in our own lives.

We do it with good intentions, but vaguely communicate any applicable faith.   For example, when we hear of a problem and we reply, “Just give it to the Lord…”  Nevertheless, the most relevant question for Ephesians 6:10 must be

“How do I go about any task using the Lord’s strength?”

The answer requires fellowship with God.

Finding God’s Strength Ephesians 6:10 National Association of Christian Ministers

– We become aware of His strength by His steadfast embrace.

– We find His strength being perfected in us, through our weaknesses.

– We recognize our dependency upon His guidance; affirmed by the joy, peace, and love He reveals in our hearts.

It is here that we walk in the mighty power of His Spirit.
